BEIJING, May 19 (AFP) - Solar boards against an outsider scene, inclines and poles pointing at the Martian skyline - China's first test on the Red Planet has radiated back its first "selfies" after its set of experiences making landing a week ago.
The Zhurong meanderer was conveyed into the Martian climate in a lander on Saturday, in the main ever effective test arriving by any country on its first Mars mission.
Zhurong, named after a legendary Chinese fire god, shown up a couple of months behind the United States' most recent test to Mars - Perseverance - and has been commended in China as an achievement in its climb to space superpower status.
The China National Space Administration on Wednesday distributed the pictures taken by cameras joined to the meanderer, which showed the hindrance evasion hardware and sunlight based boards on the vehicle, just as the surface of the Martian surface.
