Leading Hezbollah figure killed by Israeli airstrikes



Jerusalem, Israel on Friday, September 20, carried out an airstrike on Beirut, the capital of Lebanon, killing a senior Hezbollah commander and several senior officials of the armed movement. The US has long sought Ibrahim Aqil and is offering a $7 million reward for information that leads to his capture in relation to the 1983 bombing of the US embassy in Beirut. The leader of Hezbollah's Radwan Force is Aqil.
