TOKYO, June 25 (Reuters) - The protection of Taiwan is directly connected with that of Japan, Japan's Defense Minister Nobuo Kishi said in an interview with Bloomberg News.
"The peace and stability of Taiwan is directly linked to Japan and we're closely monitoring ties among China and Taiwan, as well as Chinese army hobby," Kishi stated in the interview with Bloomberg on Thursday (Jun 24).
"As China strengthens its navy, its balance with Taiwan is tipping closely to the Chinese aspect," Kishi said, adding the distance is widening each year.
Kishi instructed the European Parliament's protection and defence sub-committee in advance this month that China changed into increasing its national defence price range rather.
